The Italian Association for the Study of Comparative Economic Systems
(AISSEC) will hold its XXth Scientific
Conference in Turin, on October 4-5, 2018, at the Collegio
Carlo Alberto. The Conference focuses on the mission of the association, the
Comparison of Economic Systems. However, submissions dealing with both
theoretical and applied research work on related topics (e.g., macroeconomics
for inclusive growth and development, global value chains, innovation,
environment) are also welcome. Young researchers and Ph.D. students are
encouraged to apply. The Conference is organized in three sections: 1) Advanced Economies 2) Emerging Countries 3) Developing Countries In each section, there will be a presentation by an international
keynote speaker. The Conference is organized in partnership with the Turin Centre on
Emerging Economies (OEET) "Collegio Carlo Alberto
and the Department of Economics and Statistics "Cognetti
de Martiis" " University of Turin. Paper Submission Abstracts (500 words) should be submitted by May 25, 2018, to aissec.org@gmail.com,
also indicating to which of the three sections your paper applies. Submissions will undergo a regular peer
review process. Notification of acceptance will be sent by June 10, 2018. Early bird
registrations will be possible until June 30, 2018. The final deadline for
registration is July 20, 2018.
Ordinary: 80 EUR (55 EUR + AISSEC membership of
25 EUR) for early bird registration by 30
June 2018 and 100 EUR (75 EUR
+ membership of 25 EUR) for late registration by 20 July 2018.
PhD students:
50 EUR (25 EUR + AISSEC membership
of 25 EUR) for early bird registration by 30 June 2018 and 70 EUR
(45 EUR + membership of 25 EUR) for late registration by 20 July 2018.
